Using storytelling, drama, music, movement and dance, puppetry and visual arts and crafts, children are learning through fun and play and developing independence, concentration, self-confidence and communication and language skills as a natural byproduct of Arts play.
Storytelling for children ages 4 – 7 and 8 – 12 years old
A one/two hour participatory session of stories around the world, songs and poetry. The session begins with the children’s imaginations being stimulated by contemporary and traditional stories and develops into working with the group on active storytelling techniques to devise their own stories based on the traditional characters and myths.
Drama course for children ages 7 – 12
One and a half hour sessions of storytelling, improvisation, drama role play, characterization, mask work, puppet theatre, mime and vocal work with and aim of developing self confidence, self esteem, communication skills, art skills and creative expression.

programme at the Treehouse Storytelling Centre is designed for young learners from 3 to 12 years old in small groups.
Post-natal contact, movement and sound for mothers and babies
One hour sessions in which by creating an environment in which all six senses are used, we are enabling communication between Mother and Baby and groups of Mothers and Babies.
